We want to see your art!
We know there are some incredibly talented artists all over Oakland who happen to be into comics. We've seen it! A few local artists already have some of their awesome original sketch covers up among our best wall books.
So to entice you all to share the mad skillz you got for Christmas with us and each other, Cape and Cowl is going to hold an original sketch cover contest! Starting Saturday, December 26 through January 31, we will be accepting submissions via Email, Instagram and in store. We have a pile of blank covers here for sale or you can bring in your own. We will display the covers we get in person on the back wall until February 1, 2016. On that day we will select our favorite 5 covers as finalists and then we'll let the fans decide the winner! Cape and Cowlers will be able to vote on www.capeandcowlcomics.com and in store for 7 days. After that, we'll tally up the votes and announce who won!
The winner will receive a $25 Cape and Cowl gift certificate! FOR REAL!
